MONDAY:
6:30 - 7:30pm - Yin for Surfers with Leigh @ Secret Harbour Surf Club
Think YIN WITH A SPIN. This class combines the fundamentals of Yin Yoga, myofascial release and restorative practice to help create alignment.
What is Yin?
Yin is a slow-paced and gentle style of yoga that works to increase mobility, by stretching and hydrating the body's extensive fascial network. Yin is a wonderful addition to a surfers training program, as it assists in opening up the hips, releases lower back and shoulder tension and helps to regain balance after a long paddling session or a gnarly whipeout, but you do not need to be a surfer to enjoy this class. Yin is a powerful addition to anyone’s movement routine, offering a quiet exploration of the body and the mind.
THURSDAY:
6:00pm - 7:00pm - Functional Flow with Leigh @ Secret Harbour Surf Club
This class, based on a slow Vinyasa flow, builds on mobility and strength, while encouraging a quiet, introspective mind. Leigh’s movement approach combines traditional and modern Yoga philosophies, somatics, dance and myofascial release to create a deep, slow flow and establish a sense of grounding, freedom and strength in the body.
